Hi! I’m Uzoma :)

I started with a BSc. Economics then realized I loved words too much to give it up. Nonetheless, my affinity for numbers helps me design words backed by research findings. As my favorite quote goes, "In God we trust. All others must bring data."

What I love most about user experience writing is the process involved (Yes, I’m that kind of geek). So, I work with research data to ensure every copy and piece of content within a digital product is what users need, where they need it, and how they need it.

I follow design thinking to:

  • Write interface copy - notifications, empty states, error messages, onboarding messages, website copy, buttons, and even more buttons.

  • Design content - content style guides, voice & tone guidelines, information architecture & content layouts.

  • Create content - articles and video scripts.

I’m also the editor of UX Writers Learn, an online publication that helps people learn the ropes of user experience writing.

Outside work, you can find me performing poetry, going on canopy walks, and getting lost in Dublin (because that’s the best way to discover new sights, no? :) )

Want to chat about a project, UX, or you’re just curious about how to pronounce my name?
